I am a Chartered Accountant, and I began my career as an auditor, where I worked on assignments for many Scottish Registered Social Landlords (RSLs), covering external audit, internal audit, and due diligence exercises. I then transitioned to the other side of the fence as a Finance Director, a role I have held in various organisations, mainly within the RSL sector, with an eight-year tenure at The Law Society of Scotland in between.
I also serve as a Board member of the RSL Atrium Homes, where I chair its subsidiary company, Atrium Initiatives Ltd. Additionally, I am a member of the Finance Committee for the medical charity GALVMED and Chair of the SHAPS Employer Committee.
